es ist bekannt, der einzige Unterschied zwischen Root Sum of Square (RSS) und Root Mean Square (RMS) ist der Faktor wurzel{1/N} vor RMS. Wann soll RSS statt RMS eingesetzt werden? Folgende Beschreibung stammt aus Keysight:
