Das klingt nicht sehr plausibel. Auch wenn der Kran leichter gebaut ist, als ein Industrieroboter, wird die benötigte Motorleistung immer noch im Kilowattbereich liegen. Und das mit Schrittmotoren ? Naja, beim Film ist ja immer die Feuerwehr in der Nähe.

You can use any motor so long as the driver has a pulse input position mode - ie.
accepts step and direction control signals. Most 3 phase servo drives have this,
but do confirm.

Also consider the Easy Servo's from Leadshine and some other companies - they are
closed loop steppers with encoders, with performance midway between Stepper and
servo, but very easy to setup with no tuning required.
