Hi Victor,
> How did you do it, that the voltage is ok for the mainboard all the time?
And is the power connector \"PW-70\" compatible with other mainboards, too?
(The producers of the \"PW-70\" says on their website that it\'s designed
for VIA mainboards -> I have a GigaByte mainboard)
I believe it should be compatible with any Mini-ITX form-factor motherboard,
so if your GigaByte board is a Mini-ITX board, you should be OK. However,
don't take my word for it; it's probably best to contact the company that
makes the PW-70 and ask them.
> Second question: Which material do you use for building the platforms
etc.?
I used an off-the-shelf robot platform from Zagros Robotics
(
www.zagrosrobotics.com). The Prototype page at the OAP web site
(
http://oap.sourceforge.net/prototype.php) has some notes on how it was all
put together, and that page also has a parts-list at the bottom for the
major components.

Dafydd Walters.
