Problem bei Flashen mit Asuro Lib V2.60

RN-User francesco hat mich gestern darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass es mit der Asuro Lib V2.60 (von Sourceforge) Probleme beim Flashen mit dem RS232-IR Transceiver gibt. Ziemlich genau beim letzen Block brach der Flash Vorgang immer mit Checksum-Fehler (c.c.c.c.c..., TIMEOUT) ab.
Der Original Seftest.hex von der CD ließ sich dagegen immer einwandfrei flashen.
Zunächst war ich etwas überrascht, wie das zusammenhängen kann. Aber es gibt wohl, wie für fast alles, eine logische Erklärung. Das Problem konnte fransceso in der PrintInt Funktion einkreisen.

Läßt man die unvollstängige Initialisierung des Strings weg, funktioniert das Flashen wieder. Wie es scheint, kommt der RS232-IR Transceiver beim Übertragen einer längeren Folge von Null-Bytes aus dem Tritt.
Diese Folge von Null-Bytes entsteht durch die unvollständige Initialisierung mit 5 Spaces. Der Rest wird demnach mit Nullen initialisiert. Diese Null-Folge findet sich dementsprechend auch in jedem erzeugten Hex-File.

Ein Patch mit der Version 2.6.1 steht bei Sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/asuro) zum Download.
Leider kann ich den Erfolg derzeit selbst nicht testen, da ich mir die IR-Schnittstelle meines Asuros zerbastelt habe.
Ich habe allerdings eine Reihe von Hex-Files (test1.hex bis test6.hex) generiert und in ein zip-File gepackt, und zum Download (http://www.asurowiki.de/pmwiki/uploads/Main/testflash.zip) auf den AsuroWiki Server gespielt. Jeweils mit ansteigender Null-Folge (0,5,10,15,20,25). Wäre nett, wenn einige Leute mal ausprobieren könnten, ab welchem Hex-File das Flashen schiefgeht und das Ergebnis hier posten.

Benutzer des USB-IR Transceivers sind davon wohl nicht betroffen, das sollte aber auch jemand mal ausprobieren. In der Asuro Lib 3.0 bei gna.org (https://gna.org/projects/asuro-tools) gibt es die PrintInt Funktion nicht mehr.

Bei mir geht alles ohne Probleme, lediglich test3.hex gab mehr CRC's als die anderen binaries.
Hab allerdings auch extreme Verbindungseinstellungen (PageFlashDelay=1) usw.

Du könntest aber Recht haben dass es Probleme verursachen könnte, da ja kein Manchester Code zur Übertragung verwendet wird, sondern nur eine Trägerfrequenz moduliert wird.

Aber mit meinem Proggi gehts ohne Probleme.

danke für die Info. Ich hatte schon vermutet, dass nicht jeder von dem Problem betroffen ist. Es ist ja vielleicht nicht das Kodierungsverfahren selbst, sondern einfach nur die Stromversorgung, die zusammenbricht, weil das senden von Nullen mehr Strom braucht. Aber das ist auch nur eine Vermutung.
Ich muß unbedingt meine IR-Schnitttstelle wieder zum laufen bringen.

Vielleicht ist die Schnittstelle ja einfach manisch depresiv, wie der erwähnte robo aus dem genannten SciFi-Roman.....

Also auch bei mir funktionieren alle Binaries, geflasht unter debian. Bei keiner Datei trat irgend ein Fehler auf, nur beim letzten ein c zu beginn.

Ich habe jetzt meine IR Schnittstelle wieder zusammengeflickt. Fehler konnte ich beim Flashen auch keine feststellen. Auch mit 250 Nullen in Folge nicht. Komisch. Werd francesco noch mal um sein Hex-File bitten. Vielleicht ändert das etwas.

Übrigends. Die von francesco vorgeschlage Änderung mit dem 47µF Kondensator parallel zur Z-Diode am IR-Transceiver bringt bei mir wirklich etwas. Keinerlei CRC Fehler mehr.

Hallo,

nachdem ich einen anderen Akkusatz verwendet habe, gibt es auch mit meinem Problem-Hex-File keine Schwierigkeiten mehr.
Übrigens ging es auf dem PC besser als mit der Notebook-RS232-Schnittstelle.
Wenn ich mal Zeit habe, werde ich das eine Ende des Elkos wieder auslöten und testen ob ich einen Connect bekomme. Ursprünglich ging es mit den alten Akkus trotz "feinfühligen Einstellen des Potis" vom Notebook aus nie (weder unter Windows noch unter Linux).

Übrigens würde mich interessieren, ob die Lösung mit dem Parallelkondensator auch für die USB/RS232-Adapter funktioniert. Hat es schon jemand probiert?

Bei Notebooks sind die Steuerspannungen (die der Transceiver direkt als energieversorgung nutzt) meistens deutlich niedriger als an "richtigen" pcs. deshalb kann es vorkommen, dass die spannungsversorgung während einem der Sendeimpule stark einbricht.

Soweit ich weiss ist mit den adaptern gar nichts zu machen, zum einen weil wohl einige leitungen weggelassen wurden und zum anderen, weil ein usb port maximal 5V hergibt und der transceiver mindestens ~10V braucht.
